This American Life
I spent the entire morning waiting in various lines — thank god for eBooks; I read a few chapters of The Hunger Games on my iPhone while waiting. However, I should really be thanking the people overseas who made my phone. I listened to this week’s This American Life when I got home and it’s a real eye opener. If you have any Apple products or are a fan of iAnything, I’d encourage you to give it a listen.

Mike Daisey was a self-described “worshipper in the cult of Mac.” Then he saw some photos from a new iPhone, taken by workers at the factory where it was made. Mike wondered: Who makes all my crap? He traveled to China to find out.
